Continental offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with new tires of this model. The tire was manufactured with Continental’s Self-Supporting Run-flat technology. This allows the tire to securely perform for 50 miles up to 50 mph in case of air pressure loss. The stronger construction enables the tire to maintain its ideal tire shape under the weight of the vehicle and its passengers. In this manner, the tire can be driven to a nearby location in case of air pressure loss, where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. Run flat tires should not be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle due to their heavier internal structure. The all season silica compound and the ideal tread pattern upgrade the all weather traction. The compound elements and the optimal tread design increase the dry, wet and winter traction, guaranteeing a safer performing capability.
